Villa Stenersen

Villa Stenersen was finished in 1939 by the architect Arne Korsmo (1900–1968) on commission from the well-known financier and art collector Rolf E. Stenersen (1899–1978). The house, one of Korsmo’s most well-known works, is regarded as a highlight of Norwegian functionalism. Villa Stenersen is today the only functionalist single-family house that is open to the public.
