The library is open to everyone and cooperates nationally and internationally with other academic and research libraries, and with all museum libraries.
Using the collections
The library’s book collections can be used within the library.
Parts of the collections are held in external book stacks, meaning that retrieval times can vary.
Books for use in the reading room can be reserved and will be held in the reading room for a week unless renewed. Otherwise they will be returned to storage.
Remember to notify staff when you are finished with a book.
Ordering, retrieval and use of materials in the Documentation Archive are described in Ordering and using archive materials.
