This book gives a comprehensive presentation of Grete Prytz Kittelsen’s (born 1917) works over her long career as a designer. Prytz Kittelsen is considered a grande dame of Scandinavian design and influenced Norwegian design and applied arts throughout her lifetime. She was involved in many exhibitions, received numerous awards and was part of the international community of the most prominent modernist architects and designers. The book was published in connection with the National Museum’s exhibition. It contains texts written by leading experts in the field and is illustrated throughout with more than 500 photos.
