How should African art be displayed in Oslo? The exhibition, Hypocrisy: The Site Specificity of Morality, takes it for granted that African artists are part of the international art world and the curators, Stina Högkvist and Koyo Kouoh, have selected eleven international artists who address issues concerning location and morality. The catalogue presents Georges Adéagbo, Birgir Andrésson, Olaf Breuning, the El Parche collective, Marianne Heier, Gunilla Klingberg, Moshekwa Langa, Steve McQueen, George Osodi, Wilfredo Prieto and Pascale Marthine Tayou. It also includes texts that further expand on questions discussed in the exhibition.
