This publication encompasses the entire 60-year production period of Sven Ivar Dysthe (born 1931), one of Norway’s most prominent designers of the post-war era. He introduced a style which was Norwegian, but with distinct international influences. This work sheds light on his best designs and inventions within industrial design, including furniture which became world-famous and was used in private homes as well as in public buildings, hotels and businesses both in Norway and abroad.
