Summer workshop: Work with cameras and take portraits
1 July 2017–20 August 2017
The Museum of Contemporary Art
In the photography exhibition "SNAP" we look at what happens when we photograph another human being, when we take a portrait. What do we see? Will the photograph tell us who the person is? Did we think differently about portrait photography 30 years ago?
In the workshop we work with portraits, and explore how the position of the bodies relating to each other becomes part of the composition. What happens when you cut away some parts of the subject? Sometimes a body can look like a sculpture. Afterwards we adjust color and contrast.
Your photographs can be mailed to you.
The workshop is open every day 13–16 and admission is free.
