The history of the string quartet – a musical guided tour

Join a musical guided tour about the history and development of the string quartet. 

On the occasion of the “Master to Master” exhibition, some of the world’s foremost musicologists and instrument experts will be in Oslo. A music history tour guided by the American musicologist Eric Wen and featuring the renowned Norwegian Vertavo Quartet is an event not to be missed. The tour takes place within the “Master to Master” exhibition, where you can admire four quartets of instruments by the great Italian luthiers Stradivari, Guarneri, Guadagnini, and Gofriller.
