Mette Tronvoll. Portraits of queen Sonja

Royal portraits are one of the oldest genres in art.

In the summer of 2013, the internationally acclaimed Norwegian art photographer Mette Tronvoll was granted a unique photo session with H.M. Queen Sonja. The result of their encounter is a series of photographs portraying the queen in informal mood against the setting of the rocky coastline at Verdens Ende.
