ICOM-CC 2026. International Research Conference
Conservators, researchers, and museum professionals from around the world come together to share trends and advances in the cultural heritage sector.
Up to 1,000 participants from around the world are expected in Oslo for the 21st edition of the ICOM-CC Triennial Conference, themed Cultural Connections in Conservation. The conference will provide opportunities for networking and for exchanging ideas, experiences, and knowledge, supported by a rich professional and social programme. Visits to venues throughout Norway will also be organised.
The conference is organised by a broadly composed national organising committee in cooperation with the International Council of Museums – Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC).
The national organising committee consists of the University of Oslo, MUNCH, the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research, the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History, RiddoDuottarMuseat, the Nidaros Cathedral Restoration Workshop, Ringve Music Museum, the University of Bergen, and the National Museum, which serves as coordinator and host.
