Few Norwegian furniture designers have made as strong an impact as Fredrik Kayser. He was both highly productive and uncompromising in quality—a virtuoso who wanted furniture to be experienced. Iconic designs such as the Krysset chair and the Hertug sideboard are considered true works of art, and several of his classics are still produced by Eikund, Vatne Møbler, and LK Hjelle.
