This room is a beautiful venue for smaller meetings and social gatherings, close to art from the collection.

Book venue

Styrerommet is an exclusive venue that provides everything needed for an unforgettable event at the National Museum.

The location allows for the use of the entrance from Dronning Mauds gate for a more secluded access. If needed, a private elevator from the 1st floor of the museum can be used. The room has high ceilings and daylight from large windows overlooking a peaceful winter garden. Guests can admire works from the collection, including The Victorious Venus by the renowned French sculptor Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and The Death of a Unicorn and the Birth of Speculative Symbolism by the Norwegian artist Munan Øvrelid. The capacity around the table is 20 people, and the room is also suitable for mingling and smaller cultural performances. In addition to a private winter garden, the Boardroom has its own toilet and wardrobe facilities.
