Anawana Haloba. I want to tell you something

Welcome to the opening of “Anawana Haloba. I want to tell you something”!
This exhibition presents a selection of works by the Zambian-Norwegian artist Anawana Haloba. She creates multi-media installations that appeal to all the senses, and she also challenges audiences to reflect. Many of her works address current discussions about war and injustice. Colonial history is a recurring topic in her artistic practice. In several works she investigates oral traditions of Southern Africa, where the voice, language and musical heritage are central.
