Jumana Manna: Artist talk and short film programme
Welcome to artist talk and short film programme with Jumana Manna and Rana Issa.
Room 87 in the National Museum is showing works by the artist Jumana Manna. In connection with the exhibition, this conversation and programme of short films will address one of the main themes in the room: land conflicts and ecology in Lebanon, Palestine and Syria, from a historical and contemporary perspective.
The short film programme is curated by Rana Issa, author and artistic director of Masahat. The conversation will be between Manna and Issa, moderated by Håkon Lillegraven, Curator of Learning and Public Programmes. The event will be introduced by Director of Collections and Exhibitions Nora Ceciliedatter Nerdrum.
